This is a transcription of the hit single that lead to the international breakthrough for the Swedish rock band, The Cardigans in 1996-7.
The tune is a catchy pop composition with an interesting set of harmonies, e.g. the jazzy _m9 and _13 chords, and the modulation from the verse key of A minor into the A major parallel of the chorus.
The arrangement and mixing of instruments is very characteristic of the 1990s: Many of the instruments are deliberate caricatures of typical musical roles, e.g. the vocals' 60ies-diva-ballad-intonation, or the drums' 70ies-disco-ecstacy. Also, there are many brief instrumental roles of deliberately overdone musical references, e.g. the synthetic theremin ending the verse, or the unrelenting funk guitar in the chorus.
