– What were the greatest musical inspirations for the new album?
" The inspiration – for me, anyway – has been Metallica, and Iron Maiden, and Pink Floyd, and this kind of thing, that I find very present on the album. I think part 2 of “Amelia”, “The Path of Least Existence”, the end of this part is very Maiden’esque. And in fact, when we made the album, we of course did not know what the title would be for the different parts. And this part was actually just called “The Maiden section”." – Søren Friis [my translation from Danish]
